Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative 3D Artist / Product Visualiser to join our expanding design studio.

Responsible for the creation of photorealistic renders, attention grabbing product animations and optimized AR models. Has a good understanding of production and post-production tools along with what makes a successful image, light, form, surface texture, colour and composition. Can create high quality, accurate imagery to the specifications provided and within the timescales given. Ultilise different digital presentation methods (images, videos, AR, VR) and choose the best format(s) to use on a project-by-project basis. Will be involved during all stages of design cycle from creating early conceptual visuals to final marketing / sales assets.


  • We are looking for creative professional - ideally with at least 2 year’s work experience in a similar professional role
  • University degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Animation, Game Design, Product Design, or similar
  • A great showreel/portfolio showcasing examples of your work

Job Role

  • Creating 3D models with great subdivision topology, efficient UV maps and photorealistic textures optimised for AR & Mobile
  • Lighting and Rendering models to create photorealistic studio-style images that are true to life
  • Ultilise Photoshop to post process and composite renders into existing life-style photography
  • Managing our Augmented Reality model library for use on our website(s)
  • Managing our AR Builder models, animating and organising the metadata so that they sync with our website, troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • Bringing products to life with the use of animations which utilise dynamic camera angles to produce a compelling sequence

Essential Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Blender, Substance Painter & Photoshop
  • 3D Generalist skills (3D modelling, Retopology, UV unwrapping, texturing, lighting and rendering)
  • Strong knowledge of PBR materials and Blender’s Shader Editor to create convincingly photorealistic textured surfaces
  • An understanding of key lighting principles to create photorealistic images
  • A willingness to learn & create for the proprietary systems we use, such as our modular web-based AR builder
  • Highly skilled in ray-traced and real-time rendering, preferably Blender Cycles/Eevee. Keyshot and Unreal or Unity
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Premiere Pro to compile animations and video
  • Sensitivity to characterization, form, colour and graphic layout
  • A passion for toys– a great sense of humor it’s a fun job working with a fun team!
