After 2020 forced us all to slow down and stay at home, Swingball was there to get people up on their feet, in the fresh air and in the swing of all things competitive.

Swingball has been awarded “Toy of the Year” in the category for outdoor and sports by the Toy Retailers Association! As a company we are so glad that people turned to our much-loved product for fun with their family, and we are sure at times a way to let out some frustration after being cooped up for too long!

As a whole the toy industry saw an increase of 5% in sales after a very difficult year, with just over half of those sales being driven from online playing a major role in keeping children entertained, healthy and educated whilst in lockdown. Swingball shot to the top of the list for NPD’s outdoor category where it remained for numerous months, something we are very proud to have achieved this year.

Swingball isn’t just about batting a ball, it helps to develop your child’s mental and physical health. So, whether you purchased a Swingball as a replacement for a PE lesson or for some family competitions – thank you!

After the invention of Swingball some 50 years ago we are so happy that families still love playing it together and we are even still winning awards! 2020 is the year we stayed indoors and fingers crossed we do not hear the term “unprecedented times” too much this year, but Swingball will always be there to keep you entertained no matter the circumstances.
